Twilight: Can't Give Up

This is the first in a theme (series?) I'm doing featuring the mane six. Each pony's scene demonstrates an aspect of their character. (I realised that I basically only draw ApplePie, and wanted the other ponies to get some feature time)

Twilight, being the protagonist I suppose, seems to bear the brunt of the conflict-solving a lot. And invariably its her incredible magic powers that enable her to do this so effectively. She literally can't give up, or else Equestria would be totally overrun. Quite a lot of responsibility for one pony to bear, but hey ho she is a princess

The little beasties attacking her turned out being something of a cross between Vampire Bats and Parasprites (in appearance at least) which I like because Twilight messed with both creatures with her magic, with disastrous results. Perhaps she's accidentally combined the two here, and is cleaning up her own mess? Wouldn't be the first time!

This is A5 watercolour. I originally drew it (and currently all the others) in Brazil!
